About

Hi! I’m Erielle Samantha Tolentino, but you can call me Elle. Welcome to my blog!

The title, “EST At 3 A.M.” was initially penned as a play on my initials and upon the realization that a majority of first drafts for my short stories, essays, or just overall thoughts, flowed best on paper at 3 A.M… I wish there was a better background story behind the title of my blog, but there comes a time when we all have to embrace our vulnerability and write whatever comes to mind — 3 A.M. happens to be that time for me. Although it may mean producing a bunch of underwhelming rough drafts, writing at this specific time encourages me to channel into a deeper level of creativity, absorb experiences from the day, and really create something meaningful. I tend to write based on personal experiences because, as a writer, I feel like there is nothing more important than your voice. Don’t get me wrong, I love reading and analyzing literature, but my forte lies in creating fictional / sometimes non-fictional worlds. Here you have it…anything from Shakespeare analyses to venting about life — you name it, I’ve most likely written about it (or will write about it).

Please, if you like what you read, hit that follow button! All you gotta do is scroll down and click on the plus to check out my posts. Whether you need help turning those thoughts into words, researching and analyzing so-and-so’s text, or just to say, “Hey, I can relate!,” I’m your girl.

  1. Hi Erielle. Your About page is charming and I enjoyed reading it. I’m not sure I’d manage to stay awake until 3 am every night, although on nights when I can’t sleep I often get up and browse through my drafts. I’ll look forward to reading your posts. 😀

    1. Hi, Millie! Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Staying up until 3AM is a terrible habit I developed in high school and throughout college that I ended up getting so used to it. I look forward to connecting through writing! 🙂
